This is my very first year doing Project Life. I f you don’t know about it go and check it out on Becky Higgins website.
I found out about it on the Super Organiser Mum’s blog. Check it out here.
I have found it to be an easy way of documenting our life for my kids and us. My husband was looking through our album the other day and commented about how much he’d forgotten about the year’s events already.
Here is my latest favourite POTD (Photo of the day).
My Number one daughter's favourite toys at the moment and the crazy things she does with them. I feel these are things we will have forgotten in time so lets record them now.
A few weeks ago it was time for a tidy up of that horrible cupboard –
The Tupperware Cupboard!
I love my Tupperware but towards the end of my pregnancy I began to hate it. This is only because I lacked the energy to put my Tupperware away properly. I have to confess that I simply chucked it in and shut the door as quickly as I could. Lucky for me we have child locks on the cupboard doors otherwise they would have opened up themselves and all the Tupperware would fall on the floor.
My darling number one daughter wanted to help and I let her.
It occupied her for at least an hour. After she went to bed I finished it.
Firstly take everything out of your cupboard.
Wipe down the shelves.
Toss or donate what you don’t want or use.
Group like for like or similar shapes (a rectangle together, bowls inside each other etc).
For items that you use weekly keep the lids with the containers. For other not regularly used items select a large rectangle or square container and store all your lids in this.
Put everything back in you cupboard making sure the things you use the most are at the front of the shelves.
Hi my name is Kerina.
I am a thirty something stay at home mum again this year. I'm a trained early childhood teacher. I have two beautiful little girls, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. We have a new addition to the family due in May. I have a wonderful husband who is a fabulous Dad to our girls.
I love my life but definitely need at least two lattes a day to survive.
I LOVE coffee, shopping, organising, crafting with my kids, camping and project life.
