I Cleaned Out The Fridge

Today I cleaned out my fridge! It was long overdue.

What's in my baskets?
Top shelf - yoghurts
2nd Shelf - cold meats and cheese
3rd Shelf - fruit

I'm going to try to clean it out the day before I shop each week. I'm also hoping to make more of an effort to use my Tupperware fridgesmarts. I need some more though. I only like the blue though and they don't make them in that colour anymore :( Boohoo!

Next job with the fridge is to get the seals replaced. Might look for someone in the community paper. I always like getting local people.

  2. This puts my fridge to shame lol.. We used to have a very organised fridge, but with non stop dinner guest and visitors it has gotten itself into a shameful state. Job for me this weekend I think =D

Brilliant. I love the use of the baskets...hadn't thought of that in the fridge. Only use them in the pantry. Thanks for the idea!

  5. I did mine last week and was kind of embarrassed I hadn't done it earlier, once I saw how grotty it was. Then that night I put a plate of spaghetti and meatballs in there to cool down for a minute for Miss 1 and heard a *crash* as I closed the door... opened the door to find a plateful of spaghetti and meatballs in the milk shelf bit of the door.

So... my fridge got *two* cleans last week!

Oh and I tried out a new hint I got from Bianca @ A Little delightful... lining my veggie drawer with paper towel! Can't believe I'd never thought of that before.

i sooo want some fridgesmart containers. We go through so many veggies here, especially with me being vegetarian and my kids both being big snackers
