My Mum

I love my Mum.
My Mum is amazing. She is 80yrs old and doesn't look it or act it. When I was pregnant with Miss Molly I often thought about my mum and how she would be as a Grandma to my children. Now this is because she has been a Grandmother for a long time and now has 18 grandchildren and 2 great-children. I really thought that she would be over the whole grandkids thing and I was so wrong. She love my girls just as much as any of her grandkids.
The other day she came to visit. Mum bought Molly a sticker book and she LOVED it!

She even got on the floor to play with Jas. Getting up wasn't so easy!

I always worry about my parents not being around long enough to know my children. I always try to take lots of photos of them together so that my kids will always know how much their Grandparents loved them.
The most fabulous thing for me that day was when my mum rang me later that day to tell me that she had a lovely visit and that I was doing a fabulous job at raising my children. It actually made me cry when my Mum told me I was a wonderful mother to my children.
I love my Mum:)

  1. I love this post. My mom is 85 and loves all her great-grandchildren. She can't get down and play with them like your mom but she does enjoy reading to them and holding them (if they will let her.) We are fortunate enough that she and my dad live very close, just minutes away and my grandkids live on the same street as we do. We are blessed.
