Molly's Birthday Party was last Sunday. It was a great success despite the fact that I had a terrible flu leading up to the party. Many plans and ideas got sidelined and a lot of cheating occurred with store bought food. In the end it didn't matter because Molly had a great time and so did we!
I set the party in the afternoon so that Molly had a chance for a sleep before her party and I had plenty of time to do last minute preparations. I set the table up the night before so everything was ready to go. To my surprise Molly didn't touch everything on the table that morning. Phew!!
Here is a photo of the set up a couple of hours before the party.
And below are the photos during the party.
Drinks were kept in white tubs I got from Freedom (I peeled the blue striped stickers off to get them white). I provided juice boxes, water and a few bottles of soft drink.
On the table I had a glass jar filled with ice cream lollies and marshmallows. Yum!
I used lovely bamboo cutlery from The Party Studio which I stamped with the letter m.
In the next post I'll talk more in depth about the cake and food.

what a beautiful party for your molly! I loved all your detail and that you all had a great time even though you weren't well in the lead up.
ReplyDeleteYou've got to link it up to Frog Goose and Bear at http://froggooseandbear.blogspot.com/2011/04/its-time-to-party.html
Great idea. Thanks Gemma x
